SHS Summer Social 16^th August at 6pm – Palace House, Newmarket.

 6pm                    Arrival and Welcome with general overview of the Museum

6.15 pm             Guided tour of Palace House (in two groups).

7 pm                   Dinner is served in the Tack Room

Palace House, the former home of Charles II, is now home to the British Sporting Arts Trust and houses an amazing collection of works by Stubbs and Munnings as well as other more contemporary artists. Admire the art and the architecture and find out more about this impressive building which comprises part of the National Horseracing Museum.
