SPARKS Reports will only be available to fully paid up members of The Suffolk Horse Society. You must own the mare to receive the SPARKS report for it. The Suffolk Horse Society recommends that Suffolk Horse Owners use the SPARKS reports and try to use Green matings where possible. NB: The SPARKS sheet and the date is only valid for the 2024 breeding season.

Please follow the traffic lights and use in conjunction with guidance notes.
■ Tier 1 (green) Matings highlighted in Green are SPARKS compliant and are encouraged.
■ Tier 2 (yellow) Matings highlighted in Yellow are not fully compliant, but are considered the best of the rest.
■ Tier 3 (amber) Matings highlighted in Orange which should be discouraged.
■ Tier 4 (red) Matings highlighted in Red should be avoided as they are highly in bred (>0.125).
